It depends. What kind of issues are you having? Have you properly configured the Mod Builder by following the tutorial at modding.companyofheroes.com -> Getting Started -> Mod Builder?

Hi, Janne!

Great work you've done with Far Cry series so far!

Given that you have experience/expertise on Dunia Engine, esp. figuring out binary objects' classes definition while they're all hased in game, I would be delighted if you can provide any information on how you did that!

Most of the definitions were found in Far Cry 2 and Far Cry 3 binaries. If you want to get a more up to date list, the strings remain unhashed in Far Cry Primal binaries.

First of all, Nice new website!

But the main reason I'm here is if perhaps you can/want to share a list with modding tools/documentation useful for modding. or some general suggestions for making mods. I've been searching a while for tools, I downloaded some of the tools that where available on your old website. also I followed several tutorials, some made by you ^^.
But so far I haven't found anything that describes every thing that is possible and how to make use of it. Nearly all of the stuff i learned so far, i learned from you. reading the source code of mods and some tutorials.

That is indeed something I pursue quite often when I'm coming up with new modding ideas for COH2. I suppose that's something I have kinda acquired over the years by trying out different kinds of ideas.

Usually when I'm about to find out whether or not something is possible, I start by searching through the SCARDOC. (I have hosted a copy of it here: www.scardoc.coh.fi) If there are matches for what I'm trying to do, I then proceed to scan the game .scar files for references. How the specific function is used by Relic and in what context. That's usually enough. Sometimes scanning RelicCOH2.exe for new, undocumented SCAR functions helps as well.

To conclude, my modding resources are the SCARDOC and ALL .scar files extracted from the game files.

Hello Janne,
Is there any progress about FC Primal unpack tools? The game has same base with earlier games (FC3, FC4) but why did Ubi this encryption change, I can't understand this.
I hope you handle it, thanks...

Hey mooks, the compression format used in Primal's archives has proven to be more difficult than it initially seemed. RazorFinnish is working on cracking it. Hopefully Gibbed also finds time to take a look at it.
